With our farm directly on the Duvenseer Moor, we benefit from extensive grassland areas. These serve as a feed basis for our dairy cows. We also grow field forage and market crops. Field fodder includes silage maize and field grass as the fodder basis of our animals. Winter wheat and winter barley are grown as market crops . We transport these raw materials to the agricultural trader, who uses them to produce baking flour and animal feed. We use the resulting straw as "mattress material" for our cows and calves.
