Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra The Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra (BRSO) is considered one of the best orchestras in the world. It works with internationally renowned soloists and conductors and can be seen regularly in the world's major music metropolises, in addition to Munich and Bavaria. In recent years it has received the highest awards for its CDs, including a Grammy and several ECHO Klassik awards. The Latvian Mariss Jansons directed the orchestra from 2003 to 2019.
