Somapa Information Technology PCL was founded as a privatecompany in 1995 and became a public unlisted company in 2012.
Somapa has over time, developed into an international organisation that now provides comprehensive solutions using cutting edge technology systems and innovative business Solutions. Today, Somapa has hundreds of Engineers,Programmers and Business Analysts with specialized experience in Border Security Solutions.
In 2015, Somapa implemented the Advance Passenger Processing System (“APPS”) providing “Real Time” passenger security processing for all aviation points of entry into Thailand in 2017. Somapa contracted the exclusive right to provide of an interactive Advance Passenger Information System (“iAPI”) for the Lao Peoples Democratic Republic.
