China Europe International Business School was co-founded by the Chinese government and the European Union in 1994. It is the only business school in China jointly established by Chinese and foreign governments. Adhering to the school motto of "Seriousness, Innovation, and Pursuit of Excellence", the college is committed to cultivating business leaders with both China's depth and global breadth, and actively assuming social responsibilities. Currently, CEIBS offers full-time English-language MBA, Finance MBA (FMBA), EMBA, Global EMBA (GEMBA), Excellent Service EMBA (HEMBA) and executive education courses ( course overview ). It is the first to obtain the dual certification of the European Quality Development Certification System (EQUIS) and the International Federation of Business Schools (AACSB) in Mainland China. In 2019, CEIBS became Asia's first MBA program and Global EMBA program both ranked among the top five business schools in the world in the Financial Times rankings.
