ABOUT In 1973, Mr. Ng Hin Cheung, the founder of the Company, began his construction career from humble positions. After gaining 5 years of solid experience, in 1978, Mr. Ng founded his construction contracting business in the name and style of Goldfield Building & Civil Engineering Contractors ("GBCEC"). In the subsequent years, through Mr. Ng's hands-on management, GBCEC successfully completed various construction contracts, registered as a contractor in 1985 and was included in the Approved Contractors List for Public Works as a Group A probationary contractor under the Building category in 1988 (confirmed as a Group B contractor in 1999). As the business prospered, Mr. Ng took in other partners and incorporated Goldfield on 17 February 1989. Since then, the company has had almost 30 years of experience in building, civil engineering and maintenance work in Hong Kong, with a track record of quality and excellence for both public and private works.
