FORMATION A

FORMATION A (architecture) was founded in 2011 by Torsten Lockl and Lina Müller. For FORMATION A, the focus is on dialogue - a dialogue of old and new, existing and adding, dialogue between the desired use, its requirements and a design, a dialogue between handicraft and material, between the traditional and the context of the present time. We understand architecture as a combination of these individual approaches; Ratio, exploring the past, the circumstances, the task as well as the emotion when researching the proportions flow into the design process. A FORMATION of conditions; that lead to the shape. We are firmly convinced that good things are not always expensive and that even the smallest scale requires consideration. Random or recycled items are also welcome, but the set of rules should describe the whole. Every place, every topography and every task deserves a new and different approach. FORMATION also describes a community of employees and project partners, constellations and collaborations in which various personal approaches and diverse know-how flow together in an appreciative and results-oriented manner.
